    Dr. Mark Galland

    Residency Executive Director and Founder, Clinical Preceptor

    Dr. Mark Galland is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine, practicing in Wake Forest and North Raleigh. Dr. Galland founded the Galland Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Residency in 2011.


  • Linda Anstee, MEd ATC/LAT

    Residency Program Director

    Linda joined OSNC in 2011 and was tasked with developing the curriculum, scheduling, and programming for the athletic training residency. She brings a wealth of experience from academia, college athletics, and outpatient orthopaedics. Linda also serves as assistant to Dr. Mark Galland.


  • Danny Enrique

    Sports Program Coordinator

    Danny joined OSNC as an athletic training resident in 2015 and has since stepped into the role of Sports Program Coordinator. In addition to working with and guiding current residents, Danny is responsible for building relationships with school administrators, coaches, and the community, helping coordinate referrals to OrthoNC from high school and college athletes, and managing the day to day administrative aspects of the program, which spans four counties and over 20 high schools, colleges, and organizations.


  • John Neidecker, DO, ATC

    Primary Care Sports Medicine Preceptor

    Dr Neidecker is a primary care sports medicine physician with OSNC since 2015. A graduate of High Point University (athletic training) and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, he brings with him a wealth of experience treating athletes at all levels. He helps to treat and manage the spectrum of non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions, including concussion management. He also teaches and lectures the residents on a range of topics.


  • Thomas Zuber, MD

    Primary Care Sports Medicine Preceptor

    Dr. Zuber is a primary care sports medicine physician who is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. He graduated from medical school at UNC Chapel Hill and completed a fellowship at Emory University and brings to the residency over 30 years of practical practice and teaching experience. He has garnered numerous teaching awards, and published articles and books prolifically thoughout his careers in private practice and academic medicine.

    Chris Walters, PT

    Wake Forest Physical Therapy

    Chris received his Physical Therapy degree from West Virginia University. He has been practicing physical therapy since 1987 and founded Wake Forest Physical Therapy in 2003.
